Custom Home Consultants was formed by builders who identified an opportunity to provide an integrated, hassle free service that saves time and money. We have won an unprecidneted number of awards in the 25 years of building in the San Antonio area, and want to put our knowledge at your disposal. Our firm has integrated companies in all aspects of the custom home building process, creating a service that helps uninformed consumers in the custom home building market.

Initial Presentation & Consultation

Upon making the decision to utilize the consultation service that we provide, we will meet with you to decide on a perfect site location. We will then evaluate and survey the chosen lot, brainstorming ideas and mentally generating a list of your needs.

Architect & Designer Selection

Once a preliminary lot analysis is made and your specific needs and requirements are determined, we will choose an architect that best suits those needs as well as your budget.

Financing Service

At this point, we offer an optional service to shop for your various financing options. We understand that this is an undesirable aspect of the building process and will exhaust every resource until we find you the most suitable deal.

Selection of Specifications

While the plans are being developed, Duncan Mann will meet with you to create a custom set of detailed specifications. Our service thrives on our extreme attention to detail as we will outline each and every product that will be integrated in the construction of your home.

Interior Design Selection

Following the detailed completion of the plans and specifications, interior design selections will be made during a meeting with our interior designers. This stage of our process is aimed at alleviating future change orders and eliminating shady gray areas that arise from improper planning.

Engineer Evaluation

Our engineer at this phase will develop an in depth foundation plan and will also designate a lot and house stake in the orientation chosen by you and Duncan Mann.

Builder Interview

At our roots, we are building company that thinks like builders and knows the details of the building process. At this phase, we will thoroughly interview a number of superior builders in the specific market and distribute the complete bid packages that had been previously generated. In the span of 2 weeks, we will collect bids from the chosen list of builders and assemble as a team to choose the best builder for you and your needs. This decision will be based on price, reputation, and client compatibility. A builder will then be selected and a contract will be signed.

Thorough Inspection

Through the construction process, our well respected inspector will walk you through the building procedure, incorporating a custom suited 4 point inspection procedure including the analysis of the
